Third time this month a client asked if they can get ‘ISO certified personally’ as a consultant.
I’ve explained it twice already. ISO certifications are for organizations, not individuals. That’s it. There’s no personal ISO 9001 certificate with your name on it.
What they probably want is a personal qualification like an IRCA-registered lead auditor cert or similar, which is a completely different thing.
Starting to wonder if this confusion is partly our industry’s fault for marketing these things so poorly.
